About me…

My journey as a designer first started as a freshman at UCSD. Undecided, I made the choice to become the designer of my own life by studying Cognitive Science - Human-Computer Interaction Specialization.

During my formative Engineering Internship experience with Zest Dental Anchors, I got the opportunity to learn about industrial-level product development and engineering methods, as well as working hands on with engineers to improve product efficiency, conduct validation trials on products and even creating new tools out of old ones!

One very important experience I remember while at Zest was learning to use graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop and Pixelmator Pro to improve the label design on products. After this experience with design engineering, I knew I wanted to keep learning and further my knowledge of design, the design process and eventually web development. Adding to what I learned at Zest and through my experiences building web applications in the COGS 120 (Interaction Design) & COGS 121 (Human-Computer Interaction Programming Studio) classes, I knew Front-End Development and User Experience design was the right field for me.

I enjoy beautiful views, trying exotic foods and visiting different cultures. In my free time I seek a myriad of activities that range from mountain biking to virtual reality gaming. One of my favorite things to do is to simply go out, take a camera and adventure places I’ve never been to.
